Ocean Two is located in Charleston, South Carolina. There are plenty of wonderful kayaking locations in the area, the most notable and exciting is Folly Beach. Instruction and tours (as well as kayak rentals) are offered through Ocean Air Sea Kayak Instruction and Tours.

04-25-2006: Another East Coast Canoe and Kayak Festival is over. The weather was astounding, especially Sunday, and the water was toasty warm at 70 degrees. If you missed this event, put it on your calendar for next year (third weekend in April, usually).

12-12-2005: Since things are a bit slow for the winter, Greenland Paddles are in the making - ornaments, that is! Unfortunately, they won't be ready by Christmas, but will be available in the new year.

11-23-2005: That's 3 Nigel Foster Legend skeg cables replaced, so far. Luckily Seaward, the manufacturer of the Nigel Foster boats, has replaced the dreaded kinking cable with a solid bar at the slider mechanism for the new Legends, at least. If your cable is kinked, the options are to replace it, or just edge the boat that little bit more.

11-21-2005: BCU Week - everybody really raves about it. Time to schedule that in for October 2006.

10-23-2005: Back from vacation from San Francisco area. If you are looking to rent kayaks out there, there's a couple of places in the Monterey Bay area (do a Google search), but we went with http://www.montereybaykayaks.com/ (Monterey Bay Kayaks). They rent out both plastic and glass boats, and include a wetsuit and paddling jacket in the cost of a rental (as well as paddle, PFD sprayskirt, pump and paddlefloat).

10-23-2005: BCU week at Sea Kayak Georgia is over. I'm waiting for a report from our friends at Ocean Air...
