Greenland Paddle Ornaments

These paddles would look great on the mantlepiece, work desk, or just about anywhere else! They are laminated from Purpleheart, Maple and African Paduak, and varnished to a smooth satin finish.

 The greenland paddle is 13 1/2 inches long by 1/2 inch wide, with the stand approximately 3 inches by 1 1/2 giving an overall height of about 3 inches. The storm paddle is 11 inches long by 1/2 inch wide.  The tips of the paddles are maple, simulating the bone often used on origional paddles. The shaft is slightly larger in diameter than to scale, but is shows the contrast between the maple and the purpleheart nicely.

There are only 2 sets left, and a storm and a full size!

There are some more in the works, using Yellowheart instead of maple, but the tips and stand will still be maple.
